The other day I saw this image and today I remembered how true this is. Sometimes you can't create for real so I created something in my head and as I am studying psychedelics at Uni, I created a all new drug.

Listen to this... The drug is called "EgoFlux", and it is a transformative psychedelic designed to dissolve societal superstructures and constrictions, allowing individuals to experience their true essence and values without the pressures of external expectations or internalised external expectations. The goal of this drug is to strip away the "masks" that we wear in society, helping people connect deeply with their authentic selves and others, fostering greater compassion, empathy, and genuine interpersonal interactions.
How this drug works on your brain (this is for the science/brain nerds)
EgoFlux works by targeting areas of the brain related to social conditioning and self-identity, particularly the prefrontal cortex (PFC), default mode network (DMN), and limbic system. It temporarily reduces the activity of the PFC, which is responsible for ego-driven decision-making and over-analysis, while enhancing connectivity between the DMN and limbic system. This leads to a "freeing" sensation, where the user is less inhibited by social norms and more attuned to their emotional and instinctual desires. Additionally, EgoFlux increases serotonin receptor activity, particularly at 5-HT2A receptors, which contributes to profound shifts in perception, emotional insight, and open-mindedness (like MDMA but more targeted to conditioning thoughts).
What I imagined are the effects:
Heightened emotional transparency (feeling deeply connected to one’s own feelings).
Reduced concern for social judgment.
Enhanced empathy and the ability to understand others beyond social roles.
A strong sense of unity, both within oneself and with others.
Who should use the drug:
EgoFlux is designed for those seeking a transformation of self-perception, to aid individuals who feel trapped by societal norms, expectations, or cultural conditioning. It is ideal for:
People in therapy, undergoing personal growth work.
Artists, writers, and creative individuals looking to break free of cognitive or societal limitations.
Social justice advocates and leaders who wish to connect with others more authentically.
Those experiencing "existential crises" or dissatisfaction with their life paths due to social pressures.
EgoFlux users describe a profound sense of “mental decluttering,” where they no longer feel the weight of external pressures, but instead experience raw, undistorted emotions. Many report long-term benefits in terms of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a deeper understanding of how society shapes behaviour. The effects are subtle enough to not cause extreme hallucinations, but potent enough to cause significant shifts in perception.
In short, EgoFlux allows individuals to peel back the layers of social conditioning, past trauma and that annoying Super Ego/Parent (or whatever you wanna call him - I am pretty sure is a man) so they can live more genuinely in alignment with their true values.
If it existed wouldn't you try it?
